About Sillar Nueve
An architectural conservation studio in Arequipa. We document materials and spaces, assess their condition and propose interventions that respond to the history of each building.
Sillar Nueve begins with a simple question: what does a place need to retain in order to keep telling its story? Our work brings together documentation, material assessment and planning. Before proposing changes, we organise the available information and identify the limits of the brief. Each proposal distinguishes observations, hypotheses and decisions requiring specialist assessment or authorisation.
